I’m most often woken up by my children, who I drop off at day care before going to Everial.

Once I’m there, I have a coffee with my colleagues in the Information Systems Department. Yeah, having a coffee is the best way to socialise at work. We then have our brief for the day. This is when I have to make sure the whole team gets my point because we’re mostly discussing technical issues. It isn’t always obvious.  Then the day can get started, we don’t have any down time. There’s no getting side-tracked in development. We have to concentrate in order to submit good quality work with a project that runs properly. To wind down, I might go for a quick run on my break, it clears my head, and I do have to keep fit, right?

One of our big projects is the Everial application for document recognition and management. I process the content of this application, setting up algorithms, settings and code for the document authentication process to work properly. This assignment requires patience and several tests, both in-house and externally.

When you think my first job was to break up concrete as a youngster! Meeting inspiring people with an atypical background has helped me go above and beyond, and get motivated.
