Our actions

MICHEL GARCIA - Chairman and Managing Director

For me, sustainable development is accepting that we have a responsibility to protect the planet so as not to compromise the future of our grandchildren and of future generations.
My generation was not aware soon enough of the fragility of our environment. That is why I feel totally involved in this issue.
Now, I want my group to play a more active part in sustainable development by following good practice on social, environmental and economic levels. I also encourage my staff on a daily basis to adopt environmentally-friendly behaviour.
Sustainable development is a civic approach within everyone’s reach through simple behaviour such as not throwing litter on the ground.

LIONEL GARCIA - General Manager

For me, sustainable development is about improving and protecting the quality of life of people now and in the future.
It is about joining with or committing oneself to humanitarian organisations by giving of oneself, one’s time and one’s resources.
As an economic player, I want to commit Everial to planning around environmental issues, guaranteeing social equity and dialogue, and making the company sustainable.

JACK LOMONT - Director

For me, sustainable development is a state of mind, a way of life. It is about being aware that our actions have consequences for our environment and our society, and then acting accordingly. It is through these simple actions and responsible behaviour like sorting waste and saving energy that we will help serve the interests of our planet.

CHRISTINE LAURAIN - General Purchasing and Services Manager

For me, sustainable development is a real philosophy of life, a commitment to my daughters. I became aware of the main issues only 3 years ago, by gradually changing our family behaviour in simple ways (water, energy, food, organic, public transport). Through my job, I encourage, involve and look for suppliers who think about innovative strategies for reducing, reusing and recycling the company’s purchases.
