In order to limit the impact of our activities on the environment, we are continually committed to :
- Reducing our consumption of natural and energy resources
- Preventing pollution, reducing our emissions of CO2 and other greenhouse gases, mainly through following the rules promoted by Eco-conduite environmental initiative.
- Reducing and upgrading our waste as far as possible.
In order to meet these commitments, we take great pains to follow existing best practice in this field :
- use of recycled paper,
- recycling of ink cartridges in partnership with the ASAH association,
- use of presence detectors and energy-efficient light bulbs,
- putting in place mains water drinking fountains to reduce plastic consumption,
- etc.
Our commitment goes beyond just following current regulations. We also keep to the additional commitments we set for ourselves. This principle can be seen in the procedure for ISO 14001 certification for the Megastore in Chartres.
We also encourage all our members of staff and partners to adopt environmentally-friendly behaviour. For example, the Eco-citizen Charter displayed at the reception of our sites, in social areas, training offices, raising employee awareness of waste recycling in partnership with VEOLIA,...
